The president of Kyrgyzstan asked for his citizens to ignore unconfirmed web reports about the reportedly deadly clashes on the border with Tajikistan. Kyrgyzstan is observing a day of mourning because of the clashes. According to local sources, 59 Kyrgyz citizens have been killed, while on the Tajik side, at least 41 have been confirmed dead.
