Paraguay’s inflation rate declined to 7.6% YoY in January from 8.1% in the previous month, the lowest reading in over a year, mainly driven by softer rises in food and transportation prices. Monthly, consumer prices rose by 1.2%, the highest in nine months, following a 0.2% decline in the previous month.
