Lebanon annual inflation rate soared to a record high of 264% in March from 190% in February. Costs of communication, health, and transportation were the main contributors to the inflation surge. Notably, food prices increased to a ten-month high of 352% in March from 261% in February. Monthly, consumer prices rose by 33.3% in March, the highest on record since 2013, following a 25.5% increase in February.
