The World Bank approved USD 1.25 bln in loans for three projects in Bangladesh aimed at promoting crop diversification, food safety, and climate resilience in agri-food systems, supporting the country’s transition to green and climate-resilient development, and making its micro-enterprise sector more dynamic, and resource-efficient. The World Bank also discussed a new country partnership framework for Bangladesh for 2023-2027.
