In April, Paraguay consumer prices entered the central bank’s 2%-6% target range for the first time since August 2021, as fuel prices dropped and food costs moderated, reaching 5.3% YoY. Monthly, consumer prices increased 0.4% for the second consecutive month, with fuel prices leading the decline, while fresh produce saw the most significant price gains.
