The EC requested member states to target around 35 more entities, including businesses in mainland China, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and the UAE, for supporting Russia military and industrial complex in its war against Ukraine. Stricter export restrictions are called for regarding dual-use goods, technology, and items that may enhance Russia’s defense and security sector.
