Ghana

Ghana inflation rate in April fell to a six-month low of 41.2%, easing slightly from 45% in March. The decline was primarily driven by a slowdown in food price growth, with food inflation easing to 48.7% from 50.8% in the previous month. Non-food inflation also decelerated to 35.4% from 40.6%. Meanwhile, S&P affirmed Ghana’s local currency rating at CCC+ with a stable outlook.
