Kazakhstan central bank held its benchmark interest rate steady at 16.75%, considering potential rate cuts in the second half of 2023. Inflation forecasts were revised down, with inflation rates projected to drop to 16.8% this year due to a more considerable decrease in food prices. The bank also revised its GDP growth forecasts and the current account surplus for 2023.
