Georgia has reported its H1 2023 GDP figures, showing a growth of 7.6%. Main contributions to this growth stem from the construction, retail, finance, and insurance industries, while the transport, warehousing, electricity, and air conditioning sectors trended downwards. Previously, Georgia’s GDP had grown by 10.1% in 2022 and by 10.5% in the first half of that year. The country’s budget assumes a 5% GDP growth, aligning with the EBRD and the IMF predictions.
