Georgia’s central bank cut its interest rates by 25 bps to 10.25%. In recent months, inflation has been showing signs of a slowdown, with June inflation decreasing to 0.6% YoY, primarily due to external factors such as fuel and food prices. The bank’s governor stated that the institution aims to reduce its key rate to 9.5% by year-end and that inflation will likely fall below the 3% target in the upcoming months.
