Uzbekistan has disclosed details about its public debt portfolio, revealing a rise in foreign debt by nearly 10% last year, amounting to about 32% of GDP. The ADB, IDB, and AIIB emerge as the country’s primary sovereign lenders. In parallel, domestic debt witnessed an ascent, increasing by about USD 600 mln to hit USD 3.3 bln, pushing the overall public debt to roughly 36.4% of GDP.
