The OECD has upgraded its forecast for Russia’s GDP growth for 2023 to 0.8%, a significant shift from its earlier prediction of a -1.5% contraction. However, this still remains far below the optimistic 2.5-2.8% growth outlook that Russian President Putin recently presented.
