Paraguay’s inflation rate rose by 3.5% YoY in September, up from 2.9% in August. Consumer prices rose 0.5% MoM in September. In other news, Paraguayan officials noted that Argentina did not meet its agreed USD 30 mln monthly payment for the Yacyreta hydroelectric dam, remitting only around USD 12 mln in September, inducing tensions at their shared border.
