Myanmar registered a trade deficit of USD 818 mln in the H1 of this fiscal year, contrasting with a USD 112 mln surplus the previous year, mainly driven by reduced exports. The ministry’s data indicated a slight reduction in imports and overall trade, with border transactions comprising about 30% of total trade.
