Malaysia’s trade surplus narrowed significantly to MYR 12.4 bln in November, the smallest since May 2020, due to a 5.9% decrease in exports, particularly in manufacturing. Meanwhile, imports increased by 1.7%, the first rise since February. From January to November, the trade surplus declined to MYR 202.5 bln, down from MYR 228.2 bln in the same period last year.
