Before the weekend, Ukraine claimed that its troops had gained complete control of the Russian town of Sudzha in the Kursk region. It is the largest town captured by Ukraine during its 10-day incursion. The President of Belarus had been on the tapes earlier to call on both countries to end the scuffle.
