Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is considering the sale of ca. USD 1.5 bln benchmark USD bonds for the first time since 2015 after agreeing to resolve a decade-long dispute over oil and gas assets. The amount and timing will depend on market conditions. There is also a chance that the debt may be denominated in EUR. Kazakhstan has a USD 1.5 bln bond coming due in October. It last sold EUR-denominated debt in 2018 and 2019.
