Japan is making final arrangements to provide Ukraine with USD 3.3 bln as part of a USD 50 bln loan plan by the G7 nations involving the use of Russia’s frozen assets. The G7 is to agree on details on the sidelines of a meeting later this month between G20 finance ministers and central bank chiefs in Brazil. The US and EU will each contribute USD 20 bln, with Japan, the UK, and Canada providing the remainder.
