Ukraine’s main underground natural gas storage facility was targeted in a recent Russian missile and drone attack, causing a temporary halt in fuel withdrawals. Despite this, operator Ukrtransgaz JSC reported no critical damage to the site in western Ukraine and has managed to compensate for the temporary shortfall by utilizing reserves from other storage facilities. The incident will slightly affect fuel withdrawals as repairs are made to the key storage site commonly used by European traders.
