The World Bank intends to provide up to USD 3 bln in loans and grants to Bangladesh this fiscal year to aid in critical reforms, flood response, air quality improvement, and health initiatives. Approximately USD 1 bln will be redirected from existing programs in response to the government’s request for increased support.
