Albania’s cabinet approved its negotiating position document for EU accession talks. The chief negotiator, Dhuka, announced that an intergovernmental conference would be held on October 15th to open the first cluster of negotiations, focusing on statistics, judiciary, fundamental rights, justice, freedom, security, and financial control. That follows the EU’s decision to open the first chapter of negotiations with Albania.
