Paraguay’s central bank reported that consumer prices increased by 0.2% MoM in September, below the expected 0.3%, but up from the -0.2% decrease in August. Concerns are rising due to the weakening of the exchange rate, which has dropped about 7% since mid-March. Analysts expect the central bank to maintain the monetary policy rate at its current level of 6.0% for the remainder of 2024.
