The European Parliament approved a loan of up to EUR 35 bln for Ukraine’s defense and construction. The loan will be repaid using future revenues from Russian central bank assets frozen abroad. The loan accounts for the EUY’s share of a large plan devised by the G7 to lend Ukraine USD 50 bln.
