Egypt is conducting a comprehensive survey on its economic reforms’ social impact and collaborating with the IMF to support vulnerable populations. This assessment is set to be discussed during IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva’s visit to Cairo in early November, as Egypt seeks adjustments to its USD 8 bln IMF loan targets amid regional challenges.
