Standard Chartered Plc has partnered with the UK’s development finance institution, British International Investment Plc, to boost trade between Africa and South/Southeast Asia through a USD 350-mln financing deal. Since 2013, Standard Chartered and BII have supported USD 10 bln in trade across over 10 countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
