The reverberations of Trump’s victory continue as EU leaders try to work out whether they could keep the Ukrainian war effort going if Donald Trump decides to shut off support from the US. The EU is also seeking to accelerate talks with the UK on a new defense and security pact. Separately, Ukraine’s inflation stood at 9.7% YoY for October, the highest since July 2023, and a further acceleration from the 8.6% recorded in September.
