Ukraine’s sovereign USD bonds extended gains Thursday as the markets grow more confident the war with Russia will end soon under a Trump presidency. The nation’s bond due February 2029 added 2.1 cents to 65.2 cents on the USD. The moves come after Fox News reported US president-elect Trump will soon appoint a Ukraine peace envoy to lead negotiations on ending the war.
