Thailand’s trade deficit narrowed to USD 0.79 bln in October from USD 0.83 bln a year earlier, with exports rising 14.6% YoY to a 19-month high of USD 27.22 bln, surpassing market expectations. For the first 10 months of 2024, the trade deficit was USD 6.75 bln, with exports growing slower than imports.
