Tajikistan’s president announced the dates for the upcoming parliamentary and local elections by signing a decree. Elections for the lower house of parliament and the councils of people’s deputies in regions, cities, and districts are scheduled for March 2, 2025. The elections for the upper house of parliament will take place on March 28, 2025.
