The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan sold USD 88 mln on December 9, 2024. In total, the bank conducted 24 currency interventions in 2024, amounting to USD 875.1 mln, including USD 369.35 mln in USD purchases. In November, it sold USD 223 mln in USD. Separately, the ADB raised USD 5 mln through bond issuance in Kyrgyzstan’s currency, the Kyrgyzstani som, in November. Kyrgyzstan’s GDP growth reached 9% through November 2024.
