Kazakhstan’s PM Bektenov announced he directed the Energy Ministry to intensify efforts to increase oil and gas output to meet production targets for 2025. The country aims to boost oil output to 97.2 Mt in 2025, up from an estimated 87.8 Mt this year (a 190 Kbpd increase). The target is integral to budget revenue projections and the government’s planned fiscal consolidation next year.
