Argentina’s GDP contracted 2.1% y-o-y in 3Q24 but expanded 3.9% QoQ s.a., surpassing the 3.4% growth expected by analysts. This marked a recovery from the declines of 1.9% in 4Q23, 2.1% in 1Q24, and 1.7% in 2Q24. All GDP demand components showed improvement, with fixed investment leading the rise at +12.0% QoQ s.a., followed by private consumption (+4.6% QoQ s.a.) and exports (+3.2% QoQ s.a.).
