The Central Bank of Uzbekistan conducted USD 7.6 bln of foreign exchange market intervention in 2024, the bank has reported. Volumes fluctuated throughout the year, with USD 3.5 bln of interventions in the first quarter, USD 1.6 bln in the second, USD 500 mln in the third, and USD 2 bln in the fourth. The overall volume of intervention was 6% lower than in 2023.
