South Africa will accelerate its transition to green energy with a EUE 150 mln loan from Germany’s KFW Development Bank. The loan will help improve the Cape town’s power grid and support renewable energy projects, including a hydro-power facility and a solar plant, as Cape Town aims to reduce its reliance on Eskom amidst power cuts and rising electricity prices.
