Vietnam recorded a USD 1.55 bln trade deficit in February, driven by a surge in imports for raw materials. This marked its largest monthly deficit since May 2022. As the country prepares a trade delegation to the US, it faces challenges from US tariffs, which have raised concerns about its vulnerability due to a significant trade deficit with the US.
