ING is increasing its investment in renewable energy and sustainable digital infrastructure in the Philippines, driven by the country’s economic stability and demand for green funding. The bank allocated USD 1.657 tln to sustainability projects in 2024, marking an 11% increase from the previous year. ING plans to increase annual green financing from USD 136.3 bln to USD 157.19 bln by 2027, with a focus on supporting Philippine firms in renewable energy.
