Vietnam is sending a top official and a business delegation to the US as part of ongoing efforts to address its trade surplus with the US, which reached USD 123.5 bln last year. These steps come ahead of the announcement of reciprocal tariffs by US President Donald Trump, with Vietnam looking to show its commitment to reducing the surplus.
