In Tajikistan, the ADB forecasts economic growth of 7.4% this year and 6.8% in 2026, following growth of 8.4% last year. It expects the economy to be supported by energy and industrial investment, consumer demand, and private sector development. Inflation is forecast at 5.0% this year and 5.8% for next year, kept elevated by high consumer lending, wage, pension, and utility tariff increases.
