Senegal’s consumer prices fell 0.2% YoY in March 2025, the first decline in four periods. This was driven by lower food prices and declines in information and communication goods. However, increases in other categories, such as restaurants and accommodation services, partially offset these drops. The core index rose by 2.1% YoY.
