Last week Azerbaijan and China signed a USD 300 mln investment agreement to expand renewable energy partnerships between the two countries. President Aliyev said the signed contracts would support 6,500 MW of renewable energy production in the country by 2030, which is a significant increase from the current total electric capacity of 8,000 MW in Azerbaijan currently.
