Rwanda projected slower growth of 7.1% in 2025 and 7.5% in 2026, down from 8.9% in 2024. The FY25/26 budget will rise over 20%, driven by airport construction and airline expansion. The IMF warned the projects could push debt to 86.7% of GDP by 2026.
