Georgia’s GDP grew by 8.3% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, with growth slowing to 7.1% in Q2 from 9.8% in Q1. Despite the deceleration, forecasters including the National Bank of Georgia, and the IMF, have raised their 2025 growth forecasts recently to around 7.3-7.5%.
