Geopolitical challenges in Asia will be a major topic since Japan holds the rotating G-7 presidency. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will attend the meeting ahead of the annual leaders’ summit in Hiroshima. The G7 will also discuss how to encourage infrastructure development in developing nations across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Some announcements are planned for next month’s summit.
