Georgia plans to boost gas imports in 2025, with Azerbaijan, the largest supplier, increasing flows, and Russian imports projected to double in volume. Meanwhile, Russia plans to increase gas supplies to Central Asia by 10-15 BCM in the near future, through the upgrade of the Central Asia-Center gas pipeline. Several new pipeline plans for exporting gas to China are underway, including the Far Eastern pipeline, to be launched in 2027, the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline through Mongolia, and a 45 BCM capacity pipeline through Kazakhstan.
