The EU imposed sanctions on two Serbian companies for supporting the Russian defense industry, as part of a broader package targeting 32 companies from Russia, China/HK, Serbia, UAE, Iran, and India. Earlier this week, Serbian President Vucic announced that the NIS oil company, owned by Russian Gazpromneft, is expected to fall under US sanctions soon, though details of the restrictions were not disclosed. Gazpromneft is already under new US financing restrictions.
