Indonesia’s consumer prices fell by 0.09% YoY in February, missing forecasts of a 0.41% rise and marking the first deflation since March 2000. The deflation was driven by a 12.08% drop in housing prices due to temporary electricity discount tariffs. Inflation remains outside the central bank’s target range for the second consecutive month.
