Indonesia’s government debt reached IDR 8,560.36 tln (USD 539.4 bln) by October 2024, with a debt-to-GDP ratio of 38.66%, well below the 60% limit. Most of the debt (88.21%) is in Government Securities (IDR 7,550.70 tln), with the remainder in loans. The domestic SBN portfolio totals IDR 6,606.68 tln, and foreign currency-denominated securities stand at IDR 944.02 tln.
