Malaysia’s trade surged 18.2% YoY in April to MYR 261.9 bln, the highest since August 2022, driven by strong demand for commodities, electronics, and US orders. Imports rose 20% YoY to MYR 128.4 bln, while exports climbed 16.4% to MYR 133.6 bln, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia.
