Vietnam urged firms to buy more US goods to help narrow the USD 124 bln trade gap, according to Trade Minister Nguyen Hong Dien. Vietnam had already imported billions in US aircraft, machinery, and semiconductors, and sought stable, large-volume purchases to improve trade balance and maintain strong ties with Washington.
