Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan visited Russian Minister Lavrov on Tuesday, to discuss cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Previously, the Russian government commented that Armenia’s EU accession plans would mean that Armenia has to exit the EAEU. The Armenian minister also explained that their EU accession bill does not set concrete timelines or mechanisms for this process.
